Vernor Muñoz:

Born in Mexico City, but from Costa Rica

Literature graduate. Lawyer specializing in Human Rights. Philosopher and holding a Doctorate in education focused on arbitration. He works within the ambit of education and human rights combining said roles in the public sector and in NGO’s as well as university teaching.

His work extends to non-formal education and participative research processes, as well as in various social movements dealing with the right to education. He has helped to strengthen, at an international level the idea of the right to education thanks in part to his role as a global adviser on education for Plan International.

He sees himself as a resilient, determined, creative and sensitive person, He is convinced that education is inherent to life
