Juan Martínez Álvarez:

Born in Asturias, but he considers himself a citizen of the world having lived in a variety of cities.

Juan is an Economics graduate and completed a Master’s Degree in Finance, Banking and MBA. He is passionate about constant learning because he believes that in contrast to material advancement, intellectual advancement knows no limits. At 22 years old, he began his professional career in Madrid as an intern at the Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales and after as a market analyst at BBVA.

He began at the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID).
Since 2016, Juan has led his own consultancy firm focused on start-ups and SMB’s in the USA and Europe as well as in International Organisations.
He likes to work in a team, hoping to both enjoy working with others and be an enjoyable person to work with.
